Travel insurance with EUR 30,000 minimum coverage is MANDATORY — must cover ALL Schengen countries and full trip duration. Credit card insurance is NOT accepted. ⚠️ France must be your MAIN destination — either the country where you spend the most nights, or your first point of entry if stays are equal. Applying to France Schengen to visit mainly another country is grounds for rejection. Schengen visa allows up to 90 days within any 180-day period across all 29 Schengen states. Consistency is critical — travel dates, hotel bookings, flight reservations, insurance dates, employer leave approval, and bank statement period must all align perfectly. Previous Schengen rejection must be disclosed — hiding prior refusals is grounds for permanent ban.
