Diplomatic and Official passport holders are visa-exempt for Singapore. Apply within 30 days before travel — do not apply too early. LOI (Letter of Introduction) from a Singapore Citizen or PR is mandatory for tourist/social visits. Possession of valid visa does NOT guarantee entry — final decision is by Singapore ICA officers at entry point. SG Arrival Card is MANDATORY — complete at arrival.sg within 3 days before arrival. Processing may take longer during peak travel seasons or if additional documents are requested. Bangladesh is classified as Assessment Level II country — applications undergo stricter review. Prior travel history and previous Singapore/US/UK/Schengen visa significantly improves approval chances.
